Product Overview

Alphanso Rock 105 is designed from the modern integrated circuitry. It’s a solid-state semiconductor amplifier. This one is able to handle 4 input signals at a time (two mono and one stereo). 105 watt is adequate for stage performance with electric guitars or acoustic guitars or even mic, keyboard, electric drums, etc. Inside this combo amp, 2 x 8 inch speakers have been mounted and that could bring out your guitar tone easily. Your guitar tone would be very bassy and sharp. Rock 105 amp has its own built-in overdrive effect with individual gain control for clean and overdrive channel; delay control, built-in compressor; two dedicated mic/acoustic/piezo pre-amps, 3 band tone control that responses upto ±12dB, 2 stereo channels, send/return compatibility, and 80 watt external speaker out.

Description

① 1⁄4 inch Mono TRS Jack input. A maximum of 5m/16ft instrument cable needs to be used. Always use a low noise high quality cable to avoid unexpected hum. There are two different gain controls for both clean and overdrive channels. The clean/OD switch is the clean or overdrive tone selection switch. The clean level is the volume control of the clean pre-amp channel and the OD level is for overdrive channel’s volume.

② The delay control works on the guitar channel only. You can easily bypass this effect just by the on/off switch. Time knob controls how long it would take to repeat the sound (4ms to 720ms). And feedback knob controls how many times the sound would feed into the signal; max 8 times.
N.B. This is not reverb but delay. Reverberation and delay are two methods of signal processing that are often incorrectly equated. The confusion comes from the fact that they are so closely related. Reverb and delay aren’t completely unrelated effects — reverb can be thought of as a network of many short delays.

③ This is the compressor pre-amp, has an excellent compression range. Threshold and sustain, both works with this single knob. In this compressor the first 50 % of the release time occurs rapidly. In addition, the complete release range can take up to several seconds.

④⑤ Mic input channel is for any kind of acoustic sound or balanced sound. A dedicated gain control and a tone control are present here. It can be shaped before dive into the equalizer because when multiple instruments would be played at a time sound shaping is very important.
N.B. Mic pre-amps are very much diverse than the guitar pre-amp. Its frequency response is much lower than the guitar input.

⑥ 3 band equalizer control. It is an active equalize, so the response is huge. It is not suggested using its maximum power. The equalizer responses over ±12dB bass, ±8dB mid, and ±10dB treble. Follow the user manual’s recommendations. The on/off switch allows you to bypass the equalizer completely.

⑦ Rock 105 has 2 x 3.5mm stereo channels. The left one can handle upto 1dBV (stereo) auxiliary input. The volume of auxiliary input needs to control from the source. The right one delivers sound to headphones or recording input and can deliver upto 450mW to 45Ω load.

⑧ This is the master volume that controls the main power amplifier’s sound, which means it works for the speaker only. It won’t effect on headphone output. N.B. pre-amp volume level should be as same as the master volume.

Additional information:
Speaker Standby Switch: This switch is directly connected to the speaker. This is very important part of the amp that cuts off pop-up sound of the power amp.
Power Switch: Rock 105 has a power switch with a red light indicator.
Back panel:
Power Socket: The power cable is removable from the amp and would be needed to change in case of damage. Inside the power socket, there is a fuse, which is also removable. (You need to change the fuse in case of damage.)
Send/Return: These send-return sockets are for external effects. Remember that after connecting the send socket the amp won’t work unless you connect the return jack back.
Speaker Out: There is an 80 watt speaker output. This is an external speaker system, so you can power up any speaker cabinet you want when the main inner speaker will cut off.

Warranty :
⚠️ Every Rock 105 product comes with 30 days’ warranty period. For any kind of circuit failure, the warranty will protect your money. But in some cases that won’t be applicable. Let us explain; in case of burns, broken parts, or any repair being undertaken; that will void the warranty.

⚡ Electronics are very sensitive products. A slight mistake could cost you an amp; voltage fluctuation, overheat, humidity, or loose connection anything can cause a faulty current situation. In these cases, an amplifier needs to repair. There are no customer editable parts inside. Only qualified service personnel are recommended for repairing.
